A woman recently reported that her car was hit by gunfire on Thursday along Interstate 94 on the city’s east side. Apollo 12 astronaut Richard “Dick” F. Gordon Jr., one of a dozen men who flew around the moon but didn’t land there, has died at 88. Gordon flew on Gemini 11 in 1966, walking in space twice. In 1969, Gordon circled the moon in the Apollo 12 command module Yankee Clipper while crewmates Alan Bean and Charles Conrad landed and walked on the lunar surface. Man Arrested By Secret Service Near White House After Threatening to Kill ‘All White Police’

On Monday, the Secret Service arrested a man near the White House after they had been told to be on the lookout for a man who allegedly threatened to kill “all white police.”  Police in Montgomery County, Maryland, alerted the U.S. Secret Service that the man planned to go to Washington with the purpose of killing officers at the White House. Kentucky Senator Rand Paul is recovering at his home after being physically assaulted Friday afternoon by a neighbor.
