Foreigner And Whitesnake Kick Off ‘Juke Box Heroes’ Tour

Foreigner and Whitesnake kicked off their “Juke Box Heroes’ tour Friday, June 15 at Darling’s Waterfront Pavilion in Bangor, Maine. Foreigner opened with “Long, Long Way From Home” and the rest of their set consisted of classics such as “Double Vision,” “Waiting for a Girl Like You” and “Cold as Ice.” Whitesnake were the second act on the bill and their set consisted of big hits like “Is This Love,” “Here I Go Again” and “Still of the Night.” Opening the night was Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Evening. Nine Inch Nails Adds More Dates To Their North American Tour

Nine Inch Nails has added some extra dates in Brooklyn, New Orleans, San Francisco, and Los Angeles to their already extensive Cold And Black And Infinite Tour. The tour will be opened by The Jesus And Mary Chain, as well as a host of openers like Tobacco, Kite Base, Death In Vegas, Daniel Avery, Gabe Gurnsey, HMLTD, and Soft Moon. Foo Fighters Announce North American Tour This Summer/Fall

The Foo Fighters announced the next leg of their tour in support of the 2017 effort Concrete and Gold. Spanning from July through October, the tour will take the band across arenas and baseball stadiums. Acts such as The Struts, The Beaches, The Monsieurs, Dinosaur Jr., Speedy Ortiz, Melkbelly, Touched by Gohul, The Joy Formidable and Gang of Youths will all be opening for the Foo Fighters on this upcoming run, on various dates. Paul McCartney Performs New Single “Come Home To You”

Rumors have it that a new Paul McCartney album will be released soon, some saying possibly even as soon as Friday. McCartney debuted a brand new song called “Come Home to You” during his recent surprise show at a small pub in Liverpool. Buzz is growing that McCartney will release a new album “this Friday” (apparently meaning June 15). There has been no official confirmation of this report, however.  Back in January McCartney said in a Q&A on his website that he was “putting the finishing touches” on a new album —  his 17th solo studio LP and his first since 2013’s New. McCartney also just taped an episode of Carpool Karaoke with The Late Late Show host James Corden. Death Cab For Cutie Announce New Album ‘Thank You For Today’ And Premiere New Single

Death Cab For Cutie have announced that they are releasing their ninth album, Thank You For Today, on 8/17. It’s the band’s first without any involvement from founding member Chris Walla, who left the group back in 2015, and their first album with new members Dave Depper and Zac Rae in the studio. The group has been teasing the album over the last few months, announcing fall tour dates and sharing a preview of a new track called “Your Hurricane.” The lead single “Gold Rush,” samples Yoko Ono and made its debut alongside a music video. Greta Van Fleet Announce 2018 World Tour

Greta Van Fleet has just announced another batch of tour dates, coming to the western end of North America followed by winter shows throughout Europe. Though they haven’t released their full-length debut album yet, Greta Van Fleet is the hottest new name in rock and roll. They’ve accumulated 75 million plays on Spotify and their video for “Highway Tune,” and is about to break 18 million views on YouTube. The newly announced string of dates will begin Sept. 7 in Seattle, Wash. and continue through North America until a Madison, Wis. gig on Oct. 11. After a two-week break, Greta will visit Europe, playing Paris on Oct. 26 and weaving their way through the continent until headlining Manchester, England’s Academy Manchester on Nov. 15. Twisted Sister’s Jay Jay French Reveals Prostate Cancer Scare

Twisted Sister’s guitarist Jay Jay French revealed in a new interview that he had been diagnosed prostate cancer; however he believes he has beaten the disease. In an interview, French, 65, said “I’m a prostate cancer survivor. I was diagnosed in March and I had an operation in April, and they tell me I’m cured.”  He also said that because of his family history, he and his doctors have been screening for the disease over the years. “They’ve been watching me for 15 years,” he noted, “because my father died of it … in ’84. And then starting in 2004, they started watching me carefully, and my brother carefully, and we knew this wasn’t a matter of ‘if’; it was a matter of ‘when.’ So when [I was] finally diagnosed … I had to deal with it,” French continued. “[I] had to proactively deal with it. … I went in the hospital and had it removed.” Twisted Sister’s farewell tour concluded in 2016 in Monterrey, Mexico as part of the Corona Northside Rock Park Meeting Fest.. ...Read Full Story

Led Zeppelin Announce 50th Anniversary Illustrated Book

Led Zeppelin celebrates their 50th anniversary this year and the rockstars are celebrating this momentous milestone with the release of an illustrated book entitled Led Zeppelin By Led Zeppelin. The group’s official social media accounts announced the new project, with surviving members Jimmy Page, Robert Plant and John Paul Jones providing input for the 400-page collection. The self-titled book is set to be released in October via Reel Art Press, and can currently be pre-ordered. Rock Band Ghost Announce Dates For 2018 North American Fall Tour

Following the No. 3 debut of Ghost’s latest album, Prequelle, the band has announced a massive North American tour that will get underway this fall. The dates include some previously announced headlining dates at the Forum in Los Angeles and the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. The band is touring Europe through August, after which they’ll take a 10-week break before returning to the road on Oct. 26 with a show in Tulsa, OK. The newly announced dates begin on Nov. 1 in Chicago and wrap in Brooklyn on Dec. 15. The on-sale for the upcoming tour begins on June 15 at 10AM local time, or through a pre-sale starting on June 12 at 10AM local time. VIP packages will also be available.
