A study of the St. Joseph shoreline is nearly complete. Abonmarche President and CEO Christopher Cook told the St. Joe City Commission they are now waiting for new data concerning the water levels of the Great Lakes before wrapping up the study.
The study was begun after the controversy that erupted when some residents on Ridgeway wanted to build a seawall to protect their home, which neighbors say was allowed to be built to close to the edge of the water. Cook says a draft report should be ready for the city commission by mid-June.
