There will not be any plea deal for the man accused of killing a Niles area couple three years ago. Keith Lintz turned down the offer to plead guilty to second degree murder for the deaths of John and Carolyn Tarwacki this week. They were found dead in their home in Cass County in February 2010. Lintz was initially interviewed by police, but wasn't arrested until last fall. He is facing first degree murder charges in the killings. His defense attorney plans to call about 15 witnesses when the trial starts next week, with several of them set to offer an alibi for Lintz. The trial is expected to last at least two weeks. Lintz rejected the proposed plea deal at a pretrial conference on Monday.
