Metallica to Reissue ‘Kill ‘Em All’ and ‘Ride the Lightning’ [AUDIO]

We may not have a clue as to when the next new Metallica album will come out, but we are getting some reissued albums with some extra goodies attached.

On April 15th, be prepared to pick up box sets for the reissued ‘Kill ‘Em All‘ and ‘Ride the Lightning.’ Both albums have been remastered to the best available sound quality and will come in CD, vinyl and deluxe box set.

The Kill ‘Em All box includes the remastered album on CD and vinyl; a double live album on vinyl recorded in Paris on February 9th, 1984; a “Jump in the Fire” 12-inch picture disc; a CD with interviews and radio IDs; a CD of rough mixes and remixes; two previously unreleased 1984 live shows from the U.S. on CD; and a DVD of a show from Chicago in 1984.

The Ride the Lightning box includes the remastered album on CD and vinyl; a CD of interviews; a previously unreleased concert from Los Angeles in 1985 on double vinyl; a “Creeping Death” 12-inch picture disc; a CD of demos and rough mixes; three unreleased concerts on CD that were recorded in 1984 and 1985 in San Francisco, London and Donnington Castle in England; and DVD with a show from Germany and an MTV appearance from Oakland.
