According to Jedi News, a second edition of the incredibly funny spoof comedy ‘Spaceballs‘ is coming to the big screen. Upon a little more investigation, we’re not so sure just how soon.
This picture was posted to Jedi News on Facebook with the caption “#spaceballs 2 it’s happening oh yes. Posters hanging at the NYC subway.”
In February of last year, Mel Brooks appeared as a guest on Adam Carolla’s podcast ‘Take A Knee.‘ During that podcast Brooks confirmed that not only was there a sequel to Spaceballs in the works, but he was hoping to get back the original cast.
Who know’s as far as these posters go as the story was first reported by The Mines Press… not exactly the most “official” source as they are a NY based Printing Company. They also look as though they have been taped to the wall. Again, not so official. Keep in mind that the Official Spaceballs Facebook page has nothing.
