This is a sad day in the rock music world. On this day in 1994, Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain committed suicide. 8 years later, in 2002, Alice in Chains frontman Layne Staley was found dead of an overdose.
Its hard to believe that it has been 22 years since we lost Kurt Cobain and 14 years since the death of Layne Staley. In honor of the two men who left us with so much of themselves, you will find their MTV Unplugged performances below.
