Shadowland Pavilion at Silver Beach in Saint Joseph was a busy place on Saturday afternoon and evening as 97.5 Y-Country held its annual Summer Jam event. More than three-thousand people showed up to see Stephan Neal, Jared Knox, and headliner Michael Ray. Y-Country Summer Jam started in 1998. From 2005 through 2011, the event was part of the Sunday festivities at the Venetian Festival on the St. Joseph River, which is no longer in existence. The event has always highlighted bright, new, rising Country stars. Over the years, headliners have included artists and groups such as Toby Keith, Blake Shelton, Little Big Town, Darryl Worley, Jack Ingram, Luke Bryan, Lee Bryce, Parmalee, Cassadee Pope, and more!
