More than $45,000 has been raised to fight Alzheimer’s thanks to a walk held in St. Joseph over the weekend. More than 400 people showed up to Riverview Park on Saturday for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s. Kristin Burt, Walk Manager for the Alzheimer’s Association Michigan Great Lakes Chapter, tells us the event was “incredible,” adding she was inspired to see so many people come together for the cause. In Michigan alone, more than 180,000 people live with the disease. You can find out more, and make a donation, at Alz.org/Walk.
