There’s video of a manhole cover in New York City shooting into the air and narrowly missing two people on the sidewalk. It landed nearby but didn’t hit anyone. It was caused by an explosion from an electrical issue inside the sewer. The same thing happened moments later to another manhole cover across the street. There were a couple of minor injuries, but it could have been disastrous.
