A search and rescue operation for a 70-year-old man was launched Tuesday night by the Berrien County Sheriff’s Department and the U.S. Coast Guard in the St. Joseph River in St. Joe. The Coast Guard tells us it was called by the sheriff’s department around 8:50 p.m. asking for assistance. The missing man was last seen at Brian’s Marina. No further information is yet available.
