The Four Winds Casinos have announced a $30,000 grant for the Logan Center, a non-profit that provides therapy to those with autism. Logan Center Director of Development Pat Roemer tells us Four Winds employees collected the money themselves.

“This was a fundraiser done by the people who you see every day, serving you drinks, dealing you cards, and giving you money at the craps table and things like that,” Roemer said. “It really was less corporate and more grassroots.”

Nearly 1,200 Four Winds Casino employees raised the money over one month. Roemer tells us it will help Logan with its day-to-day operations at its locations in South Bend, Granger, and Benton Harbor. Anyone who wants to know more about Logan can go to LoganCenter.org.
