After serving as Bangor Public Schools interim superintendent for eight months, Lynn Johnson has been hired for the position of superintendent full time. There were 14 applicants for the job, narrowed down to three finalists, and Johnson was selected. Johnson also served as the community education director. That position will now need to be filled. The school board will meet to go over Johnson’s contract and salary. He is expected to assume his new duties on July 1st.
