A Michigan lawmaker is hailing a legislative plan to regulate autonomous vehicles. State Representative Mike Webber, the vice chair of the House Transportation Committee, says “Michigan is moving forward” thanks to the autonomous vehicle regulations that have been signed into law.
“We want to be at the forefront in the state of Michigan,” Wheeler said. “These cars are going to be on the road sooner than we think.”
The Oakland County Republican adds the driving public will soon benefit. He says that’s due to the technology creating safer roads. Webber spoke with Michigan News Network about the plan.
