If you’re a resident of Bangor or thinking of moving to Bangor, you’re invited to the End of Summer Bash and Fire Prevention Fun Day on Wednesday, starting at five at the Bangor High School and Middle School lot. Hot dogs, burgers, and chips will be available for free. Backpacks and school supplies will be given to the first 100 kids. Police will display how the Jaws of Life work, and firefighters will be on hand. The event is sponsored by the Bangor Community Fire Department, Bangor Police Department, and Bangor Public Schools. The school district will have informational booths for those families interested in attending Bangor Public Schools.
