Are you registered to vote? This past Tuesday was National Register to Vote Day and Michigan Secretary of State Ruth Johnson says “USA Today” has named Michigan number one in getting people registered to vote.
“Every 18-year-old that we have an address for, we send a post card, we go to naturalization ceremonies, our branch policy is to ask people when they come in, and we have a mobile office that goes to the college campuses,” Johnson said.
