It’s almost time for the fourth annual summer Thrill on the Hill in Buchanan. The event is slated for this Thursday through Saturday, and Buchanan Treasurer Julie O’Bryant tells WSJM News it features a giant water slide set upon the hill downtown. People can ride inner tubes down it.
“We’ll have the water slide going, we’ll have concerts, games, duck races, pretty much anything you can do to have fun,” O’Bryant said.
O’Bryant says the Thrill on the Hill is the premier summer activity in Buchanan.
“Last year, we estimated about 9,000 people in the three days, and so we’re hoping to have more this year.”
Other activities will include the plastic duck race in the St. Joseph River, and evening concerts. The Friday concert with PS Dump Your Boyfriend starts at 8:30 and the Saturday concert with Gen X starts at 8. The Thrill on the Hill kicks off at 4 p.m. Thursday. You can find out more right here.
