State Expands COVID-19 Testing To Include Essential Workers, First Responders Without Symptoms

More people are eligible to get a test for COVID-19 in the state. Michigan’s chief medical officer, Dr. Joneigh Khaldun, says first responders and healthcare workers without symptoms are now eligible to get tests without showing any symptoms.

“Additionally, anyone who works in an essential job during this crisis, such as in a grocery store, food service, or the transportation sector, even if they don’t have symptoms, they can also obtain a test.:
