The Allegan County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a stabbing in Lee Township, northeast of South Haven. Deputies were called to a home around 10 p.m. Tuesday by a man in his 50s who said he’d been stabbed by an acquaintance who he had confronted about being in his vehicle. The victim’s wounds are not life threatening. Deputies arrested 61-year-old Paris Sylvester Covington Jr. of Lee Township, on a charge of assault with a dangerous weapon.
