In this time of uncertainty for young people, a non-profit in Grand Rapids, Gems Girls Clubs, has launched an online initiative to help girls feel connected during this time of social distancing. They’ve launched Girls On The Go, an online initiative to help tween girls, according to the group’s Serena Ellens.

“We recognize that all girls long for a place where they belong and where they’re loved, and so we created this opportunity for girls to connect remotely,” Ellens told Michigan News Network. “The Jump on the Go initiative is an Instagram page and a webpage full of resources just for girls.”
