Michigan school districts are hoping to be back in the classroom this fall. One northern Michigan school district, the Pellston Public Schools, is doing everything it can to kill the coronavirus, investing in air scrubbers from Global Plasma Solutions. Superintendent Stephen Seelye spoke with Michigan News Network about the scrubbers.

“With coronavirus being so novel, lab tests were done, and they’re proven to kill static coronavirus at a rate of 99.4%,” Seelye said.

Seelye says the air scrubbers are used by the White House and Google and they attach directly to the ventilation system. He says they’re also changing door handles to copper and installing touchless dispensers in bathrooms.
