Candidates for the position of Lincoln Township Manager will be interviewed by township trustees in the next few weeks.

Speaking at a Tuesday meeting, Supervisor Glenn Youngstedt said ten applications for the position have been received. He said of those, about half of the candidates would be qualified. Youngstedt told us there could be some good choices among them, including a few with experience as township managers.

Trustees are looking for their third township manager since Lincoln Township changed its form of government to include one in late 2024. Previously, day-to-day administrative duties were handled by the elected supervisor.

The most recent manager, Kacey Dominguez, left in April to become the village manager of Stevensville.

Lincoln Township Clerk Michael Brown is currently serving as the interim township manager.
