George Lopez’s Prank On Donald Trump’s Hollywood Walk of Fame Star Sparks Controversy

In a video published by TMZ, comedian George Lopez can be seen pretending to urinate on President Trump’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame — with the help of a water bottle. Lopez was in Hollywood Tuesday, and after speaking with fans, he decided to “pretend” to relieve himself. In the footage, Lopez, 57, clad in a black suit and tie, can be seen telling a man to record him from behind. He then tilts the bottle forward and empties it as he leans his head back. 2018 Emmy Awards: ‘Game of Thrones’ And ‘Westworld’ Lead Nominations

The nominations for the 70th Primetime Emmy Awards were announced Thursday morning, with shows like “Westworld” and “The Handmaid’s Tale” in the front of the pack with multiple nods for their stars, including Ed Harris, Evan Rachel Wood, Jeffrey Wright. Elizabeth Moss and Samira Wiley. Joaquin Phoenix To Star In “Joker” Origin Story For Warner Bros.

Joaquin Phoenix will star in Warner Bros. forthcoming origin film about the Joker, the comic-book villain, with “The Hangover’s” Todd Phillips directing. The movie, which begins production later this year, centers around Batman’s arch nemesis and is billed as “an original, standalone story not seen before on the big screen,” according to a statement from Warner Bros. “Phillips’ exploration of a man disregarded by society is not only a gritty character study, but also a broader cautionary tale,” the statement read. It’s unclear if Phoenix will actually play the notorious DC Comics villain (though that appears to be the case. George Clooney Recovering At His Home Following Scooter Crash In Italy

George Clooney was taken to the hospital in Sardinia and released after being involved in an accident while riding his motorbike, hospital officials said. Clooney has been shooting the Hulu miniseries ‘Catch-22’ on Sardinia.  Clooney’s rep said in a statement on Tuesday, “George was treated and released from an Olbia hospital. He is recovering at home and will be fine.” The John Paul II hospital in Olbia said Clooney was released Tuesday.  Local news said the 57-year-old Clooney had been headed to set on Tuesday when his scooter was hit by a car. He was taken to the emergency room after complaining of “a slight trauma to the pelvis and bruises to one leg and an arm.” The accident occurred near Costa Corallina, in the province of Olbia.  Reports also said that Clooney was driving 60 mph when he was thrown from his bike and that he traveled 20 feet in the air before hitting the car’s windshield; his helmet shattered on impact. Disney-Marvel’s “Ant-Man and the Wasp” is on its way to an estimated $83.7 million opening weekend from 4,206 North American locations. The 20th Marvel film, starring Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly, totaled an estimated $33.8 million Friday, including $11.5 million in Thursday previews. Netflix released a new House of Cards season 6 teaser to coincide with July 4, building up hype for a Claire Underwood-centric season and made a nod to Kevin Spacey‘s firing. In the clip, it states that Claire Underwood has a special Fourth of July message to the country: “Happy Independence Day. Kevin Spacey Accused Of Sexual Assault By 3 More Men

Three more men have come forward to accuse actor Kevin Spacey of sexual assault.  The incidents allegedly took place in England dating back to the mid-1990s. One of the men told police that Spacey assaulted him in Westminster in 1996. Another alleges that Spacey assaulted him in 2008 in the London borough of Lambeth, which is near the Old Vic Theatre where the actor was an artistic director at the time. The third man says that Spacey assaulted him in Gloucester in 2013. All three men reported their alleged assaults to police in April and February. The cases are reportedly being investigated by the Child Abuse and Sexual Offences Command. London police confirmed in January that the former “House of Cards” actor was being investigated after three sexual assault accusations. These new allegations bring the total to six. Last year, actor Anthony Rapp accused Spacey of sexually harassing him in 1986 when he was 14 and Spacey was 26.  Spacey did not deny that the incident took place and publicly declared he is gay for the first time in a statement, and in November, a spokesperson for Spacey said the actor “is taking the time necessary to seek evaluation and treatment” and “no other information is available at this time.”. ...Read Full Story

Three Charged In Kidnapping Of ‘Halloween’ Actress Daisy McCrackin

Three people have been indicted for allegedly kidnapping actress Daisy McCrackin and actor Joseph Capone. The Halloween: Resurrection star and Capone were allegedly abducted at her home in May 2017 by Keith Stewart and Johntae Jones, who are also accused of pistol-whipping Joseph and forcing both of them into a car. During the alleged kidnapping, Capone was reportedly assaulted. McCrackin was allegedly taken to two Bank of America branches by Jones and Amber Neal and forced to withdrawal $100 and write a cheque for $10,000. The suspects also allegedly stole McCrackin’s 2011 Lexus before they took her home. On Monday, Neal was arrested and is being held on $1 million bail. Joseph “Joe” Jackson, the patriarch who launched the musical Jackson family dynasty, died Wednesday at a Las Vegas hospital. He was 89. No cause of death has been released, but Jackson had reportedly been in ill health. Jackson married his wife, Katherine, in 1949. Actor Terry Crews Brings His Fights Against Sexual Assault To Capitol Hill

Actor Terry Crews recounted his story of sexual assault, as he appeared before a Senate committee hearing to advocate for the “Sexual Assault Survivors’ Bill of Rights.” Crews told lawmakers on Tuesday that even as a former NFL linebacker and “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” star, “I sit here as an example” of survivors. Crews said, “This happened to me, too.” The “Survivors’ Bill of Rights” would create special protections for sexual assault survivors, including not charging survivors for an examination, preserving rape kits for 20 years or the maximum applicable statute of limitations, and providing survivors with written notification before a rape kit is disposed of. Crews told senators of his assailant that “the assault lasted only minutes, but what he was effectively telling me while he held my genitals in his hand was that he held the power. Heather Locklear Arrested Again On New Battery Charges

Heather Locklear has been arrested on suspicion of fighting with first responders for the second time this year, authorities said Monday. Locklear appeared extremely intoxicated when deputies arrived at her Southern California home at about 11 p.m. Sunday to investigate a dispute between Locklear and either family members or friends, Ventura County Sheriff’s Capt. Garo Kuredjian said. Locklear kicked one of the deputies then kicked a paramedic who was called to evaluate her because of her intoxication, Kuredjian said. Months After Sexual Misconduct Allegations, Kevin Spacey Will Return To Theaters In “Billionaire Boys Club”

Kevin Spacey will make his return to the big screen months after facing several sexual misconduct accusations. The actor will appear in Billionaire Boys Club, appearing with his Baby Driver costar Ansel Elgort. The movie was shot over a year before allegations against him came to light, and will be released in theaters August 17. Actress Heather Locklear Hospitalized For Psychiatric Evaluation After Threatening To Harm Herself

According to the the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office, Heather Locklear was hospitalized in Thousand Oaks, California on Sunday, June 17, for a psychiatric evaluation. A police source said that a family member called 911 and claimed that Locklear, 56, had been acting erratically and threatened to hurt herself. The caller also alleged that Locklear was looking for a gun to shoot herself. The Ventura County Sheriff’s Office and Fire Department both responded to Locklear’s home at approximately 3:50 p.m. They found that “there was no crime, only a medical issue.”  This comes months after Locklear was arrested on a felony charge of domestic violence and three counts of misdemeanor battery on a police officer following a domestic dispute with her boyfriend.  Locklear returned to treatment in the wake of her arrest, her sixth stint in rehab. Actress Chloe Dykstra described in a viral post that an ex-boyfriend became emotionally abusive and allegedly sexually assaulted her in the three years they dated. While she didn’t name the subject of her essay, it was widely assumed to be Chris Hardwick; who was widely known as an ex-boyfriend. Now Hardwick — the founder of Nerdist and “Talking Dead” host — has issued a statement seemingly confirming his identity in the essay, but denying that the abuse took place. ‘Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown’ Remaining Episodes Will Air On CNN

Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown will finish out its current season after the death of Anthony Bourdain. The network’s award-winning original series is currently airing its 11th cycle, and the remaining two episodes will air as scheduled this Sunday and the following week on June 24, both at 9 p.m.  CNN will also re-air its “Remembering Anthony Bourdain” tribute on Sunday at 8 p.m. The eight-episode season has followed Bourdain as he traveled the globe on food tours in Newfoundland, Uruguay, Armenia, Bhutan, Berlin, U.S. Cajun country and Hong Kong. The final two episodes feature Cajun Mardi Gras and Bhutan. Netflix also announced that it would continue to stream Parts Unknown, extending the series beyond its June 16 deadline. Bourdain took his own life in France last week. The chef and best-selling author was filming an upcoming episode of Parts Unknown when he was found unresponsive in his hotel room by friend and chef Eric Ripert. He was 61.

Sylvester Stallone Under Investigation By Los Angeles Sex Crimes Task Force

A sex crime allegation involving Sylvester Stallone dating back to the 1990s is being reviewed by the Los Angeles County prosecutors’ sex crimes task force. The case was forwarded by Santa Monica police, but they would not comment on whether it would be disqualified for filing because the statute of limitations has passed. Stallone through his lawyer has publicly denied committing any sex crime. Martin Singer, an attorney for the 71-year-old actor, first confirmed in December that a woman had filed a police report alleging a rape that occurred 27 years ago. “My client categorically disputes the claim,” Singer said in a statement at the time. Vince Vaughn was arrested early on Sunday in the Los Angeles area for allegedly drunk driving and resisting arrest. Actor Val Kilmer is all set to reprise his role of fighter pilot Iceman in “Top Gun: Maverick”, the sequel to the hit 1986 action drama. Harvey Weinstein pleaded not guilty on Tuesday, June 5, to felony rape and criminal sex act charges, the Associated Press reports. Weinstein appeared before Justice James M. Burke during a hearing at the State Supreme Court in New York City, where he answered a series of yes-no questions about his rights before entering his plea. Weinstein turned himself in to authorities on May 25 on charges involving former actress Lucia Evans and a second woman, who has not been publicly identified.
