Paul McCartney Releases Double A-Side Single Today And Teases New Album For Fall

Sir Paul McCartney is set to release his double A-Side single “I Don’t Know” and “Come On To Me” today, June 20th, via Capitol Records. The songs will be taken from McCartney’s brand new studio album, which is due for a fall 2018 release. Further details will be announced shortly. McCartney’s last solo studio album, New, was released in October 2013. Alice In Chains Reveal Third 2018 U.S. Tour Leg For October

Alice in Chains have just announced their third U.S. tour leg this year, with dates booked in October to promote their upcoming album. This leg of the tour starts on Oct. 14 with the band’s headlining set at the Aftershock Festival in Sacramento and continues until Oct. 28 in Hollywood, Fla.  Alice in Chains have already shared the first song from the upcoming disc, called “The One You Know.”  All the newly announced dates are listed below and tickets will go on sale this Friday (June 22) at 10 AM local time. Blink-182 Cancels Las Vegas Shows, Citing Drummer Travis Barker’s Blood Clots In Arms

Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker is suffering from blood clots in his arms, leading the band to postpone its ongoing Las Vegas residency. The band announced the bad news on Twitter earlier this week, promising fans that they would reschedule the dates and provide refunds for those unable to attend. “Friends, Travis Barker is suffering from blood clots in both arms and unfortunately cannot perform until cleared to do so by his medical team. The situation is currently being closely monitored,” the tweet began. Barker, 42, added, “Drumming is my life, and it kills me that I can’t perform for you guys this weekend. Foreigner And Whitesnake Kick Off ‘Juke Box Heroes’ Tour

Foreigner and Whitesnake kicked off their “Juke Box Heroes’ tour Friday, June 15 at Darling’s Waterfront Pavilion in Bangor, Maine. Foreigner opened with “Long, Long Way From Home” and the rest of their set consisted of classics such as “Double Vision,” “Waiting for a Girl Like You” and “Cold as Ice.” Whitesnake were the second act on the bill and their set consisted of big hits like “Is This Love,” “Here I Go Again” and “Still of the Night.” Opening the night was Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Evening. Nine Inch Nails Adds More Dates To Their North American Tour

Nine Inch Nails has added some extra dates in Brooklyn, New Orleans, San Francisco, and Los Angeles to their already extensive Cold And Black And Infinite Tour. The tour will be opened by The Jesus And Mary Chain, as well as a host of openers like Tobacco, Kite Base, Death In Vegas, Daniel Avery, Gabe Gurnsey, HMLTD, and Soft Moon. Foo Fighters Announce North American Tour This Summer/Fall

The Foo Fighters announced the next leg of their tour in support of the 2017 effort Concrete and Gold. Spanning from July through October, the tour will take the band across arenas and baseball stadiums. Paul McCartney Performs New Single “Come Home To You”

Rumors have it that a new Paul McCartney album will be released soon, some saying possibly even as soon as Friday. McCartney debuted a brand new song called “Come Home to You” during his recent surprise show at a small pub in Liverpool. Buzz is growing that McCartney will release a new album “this Friday” (apparently meaning June 15). There has been no official confirmation of this report, however.  Back in January McCartney said in a Q&A on his website that he was “putting the finishing touches” on a new album —  his 17th solo studio LP and his first since 2013’s New. McCartney also just taped an episode of Carpool Karaoke with The Late Late Show host James Corden. Death Cab For Cutie have announced that they are releasing their ninth album, Thank You For Today, on 8/17. It’s the band’s first without any involvement from founding member Chris Walla, who left the group back in 2015, and their first album with new members Dave Depper and Zac Rae in the studio. The group has been teasing the album over the last few months, announcing fall tour dates and sharing a preview of a new track called “Your Hurricane.” The lead single “Gold Rush,” samples Yoko Ono and made its debut alongside a music video.
