Lee, 55, is already pressing assault charges. According to reports, the father and son got into a fight after Lee posted on social media about Anderson’s recent interview with Piers Morgan where she discussed his 1998 spousal abuse arrest. Sources say Brandon punched his father in the face in self-defense after the heated argument. He also claimed his father was drunk and the reason he’s been living with him is to help him overcome his addiction. “I’m devastated at the events of the last several days that have been a result of my father’s alcoholism,” Brandon, 21, said through his rep.. ...Read Full Story

The sculpture is the work of artist Mike Makatron, and this new Scott tribute resides on the fittingly named “AC/DC Lane.”  Sydney is the city where the band was formed, but Melbourne holds many connections to former members of AC/DC.  Drummer Phil Rudd and bassist Mark Evans were both born there, and Scott lived there during periods during his life — first as a child, then as a young working musician. AC/DC also filmed its video for “It’s A Long Way to the Top (If You Want to Rock N Roll)” in Melbourne.  Footage from the new sculpture’s unveiling can be viewed in the article linked below.. ...Read Full Story

After an introduction from Jennifer Garner, Vedder took the stage with his guitar and backing keyboardist Brendan O’Brien as he performed the fitting and moving Petty song. While Petty was acknowledged in the intro by Garner, he was not part of the actual “In Memoriam” montage amidst the actors, actresses, directors and various crew members.  While Vedder has been performing solo for most of the past year, he’s set to resume touring with Pearl Jam this spring through the summer.. ...Read Full Story

Elton John Explains Why He Walked Off Stage In Las Vegas

Elton John explained how the actions of a “rude” fan led to him walk off stage during a performance in Las Vegas on Mar. 1. Towards the end of his Million Dollar Piano show, he cut short classic track “Saturday Night’s Alright For Fighting” as a result of one audience member’s behavior. He returned to finish the set but announced that, because of the incident, he would no longer invite fans on stage during the song. John said in a statement, “Thursday night in Las Vegas a fan put his hands on the piano keys while I was playing and continued to do so even after I asked him to stop.  He then proceeded to reach over the piano and try to take pictures, completely disrupting the performance.” John continued, “This guy was rude, disruptive and had no care or respect for our show and so I let him know how I felt, then left the stage until they had removed him.” This is the second time a Million Dollar Piano performance was disrupted during “Saturday NIght’s Alright,” following an incident in which a necklace was thrown at John.  Elton John’s Las Vegas run continues until May 17; his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour will commence on Sept. 8.. ...Read Full Story
