Radiohead’s Thom Yorke Announces Solo Tour Dates In U.S.

Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke will embark on a tour of the United States this fall, playing material from his solo albums The Eraser and Tomorrow’s Modern Boxes, as well as from the sole Atoms for Peace record, Amok. The 19-date tour will begin on Nov. 23 at Philadelphia’s Electric Factory. Tickets for all dates go on sale this Friday. You can check Yorke’s page for more details. Los Angeles County District Attorney Dismisses Marilyn Manson Sexual Assault Case

The Los Angeles District Attorney’s office has declined to charge Marilyn Manson in a sexual assault case from October 2011. The public allegations come following a police report filed in May 2018 alleging “unspecified sex crimes” from 2011. Legal documents were revealed that state Manson was accused of raping a woman in 2011. The exact details of the case are unclear, but according to the DA, they declined to press charges based on an “absence of corroboration.”Manson also reportedly faced battery and assault with a deadly weapon allegations but the statute of limitations has expired which prohibits the DA from charging Manson. Manson’s attorney Howard E. King, Esq., released a statement saying, “Under current policy, the Los Angeles County District Attorney must investigate any claim of sexual abuse, no matter how outlandish. It is not surprising that the District Attorney, after investigation, summarily rejected the claims made in a police report filed by a former acquaintance against Brian Warner p/k/a Marilyn Manson.”. ...Read Full Story

Pearl Jam Brings Out Members Of Soundgarden And Mudhoney At Seattle Show

Pearl Jam invited some of their fellow local legends to join them at their Seattle homecoming. Two members of Mudhoney, frontman Mark Arm and guitarist Steve Turner, and Soundgarden guitarist Kim Thayil joined sat in for three songs that paid tribute to their roots. The two Seattle shows were Pearl Jam’s first dates in their hometown in five years. Twenty One Pilots Drop ‘Levitate’ Video

Twenty One Pilots have released “Levitate,” the third song from their upcoming album Trench. The band has also released a video for the song, which continues the storyline of “Jumpsuit” and “Nico And The Niners,” the first two songs from their fifth studio album, which were released last month.  Last month, Twenty One Pilots made headlines when they broke the record for the fastest rise to the top spot on Billboard‘s Alternative Songs radio airplay chart. The band will promote their album on a world tour set to launch on October 16 in Nashville, Tennessee. The North American leg will conclude on November 21 in Kansas City, Missouri, after which the band will head to Australia, Russia, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Switzerland, the U.K, Spain and Portugal. Force Metal Festival Announces 2018 Lineup Featuring System Of A Down, Slayer And Danzig

Force Metal Festival has released its official lineup and it is filled with many huge acts of the rock genre. The festival, which will take place in Teotihuacan, near Mexico City, includes performances by System of a Down, Slayer, Alice in Chains, Lamb of God and more. Also slated to appear at this year’s event and joining the headlining bands will be acts such as Anthrax, Stone Temple Pilots, Danzig, Carcass, Dee Snider, Carcass, NOFX, Testament and Dark Funeral. The two-day festival will start the weekend of October 6th and the 7th near the Teotihuacan Aztec pyramids. This year’s event will feature four different stages scattered throughout the Teotihuacan Golf Club. It will also have campsites, amusement park games, and a food court. Rumors Circulating That Brian Johnson And Phil Rudd Are Back in AC/DC

Rumor has it that vocalist Brian Johnson and drummer Phil Rudd could be back with AC/DC. The duo were photographed together outside Vancouver’s Warehouse Studios, where the last three AC/DC albums were recorded, causing speculation that perhaps a new album is coming. The photo of Rudd and Johnson was shared by The Georgia Straight early on Wednesday. Phil Rudd was booted from AC/DC following an incident in 2014 where the drummer was charged with attempting to procure a murder, threatening to kill and possession of meth and cannabis. And Johnson exited the band mid-tour after suffering serious hearing issues.  In the meantime, AC/DC got rave reviews when Axl Rose stepped up as vocalist, helping the band complete their tour following Johnson’s departure. Aerosmith’s First Tour Van Found by ‘American Pickers’

Aerosmith’s first-ever tour van was featured on a recent episode of American Pickers after being discovered by hosts Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz. The 1964 International Harvester Metro, with the band name painted on its side, had spent decades rusting in a woodland near Chesterfield, Mass. The episode, titled “Roll Like a Rock Star,” first aired on July 30 and is available to watch on demand via History.com. Wolfe and Fritz were told that the vehicle was already there when the current property owner took possession. The previous owner was said to have had some connection with Aerosmith, although it wasn’t clear what that might be. Pictures of the van were sent to Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry, who in turn contacted co-founding guitarist Ray Tabano. Tabano lives nearby, so he came to see the van and confirmed it was the real deal – even bringing a photo of himself seated inside. . ...Read Full Story

Series creator Ryan Murphy has confirmed that Stevie Nicks will return for American Horror Story: Apocalypse. She made an earlier appearance as the White Witch during the show’s 2014 season, titled “Coven.” The new season of American Horror Story represents a crossover between “Coven” and season one, called “Murder House.” Series actors Jessica Lange, Lily Rabe and others are also back. “So thrilled that the family is together again!” Murphy wrote via Twitter. The Fleetwood Mac star guest starred in “The Magical Delights of Stevie Nicks,” the 10th episode of the third season. Iron Maiden’s Bruce Dickinson Takes A Tumble Onstage In Manchester

During Monday night’s show in Manchester, England, Iron Maiden’s Bruce Dickinson took a tumble but was able to laugh it off afterward. During the performance of “2 Minutes to Midnight,” Dickinson had perched himself on top of a riser, but he lost his footing as he prepared to exit his spot and took a tumble downward to the front of the stage. Dickinson caught himself before he tumbled completely off the stage, but did give an exasperated flop at the end before picking himself up and resuming the performance; you can see the video footage below. Korn’s Jonathan Davis Announces Additional ‘Black Labyrinth’ Tour Dates For Fall 2018

Korn’s Jonathan Davis will set out on another leg of U.S. tour dates this fall in support of his Black Labyrinth solo debut disc. Davis has selected The Birthday Massacre and Julien-K to join him on the road, with the next round of dates kicking off Oct. 6 in El Paso, Texas.
