University of Michigan Student Curses Uber Driver Who Refused Him Service [VIDEO] [NSFW]

A University of Michigan student swore and shouted at an Uber driver who refused to pick him and his friends up.

According to reports, the student, Jake Croman, has been banned from using the Uber service numerous times. Therefor, when he attempted to get an Uber ride with Artur Zawata, he was denied. This didn’t sit well with Croman who began to curse and insult Zawata, who managed to catch the incident on film.

The University of Michigan is looking into the incident and issued a statement about the incident saying:

We have seen the video. Our dean of students has talked with both the Uber driver and the students. We are extremely disappointed in the behavior depicted in this video. No one should be treated with such disrespect.

The university and the student’s fraternity, Tau Kappa Epsilon are looking into the incident.

The student claims the driver wouldn’t pick him up because of his religion however the driver claims that was not the case. Updates continue to come in as both sides go back and forth. Uber has no issued a statement regarding the incident saying:

Any type of aggression or harassment is simply unacceptable and violates Uber’s code of conduct for riders and drivers.  We are looking into all the details as we investigate this incident and are in touch with everyone involved.

At this point we know that the student filed a complaint with the Ann Arbor police department. The police, University of Michigan, Tau Kappa Epsilon and Uber are all looking into the incident.
