A new shoe debuted this week called the Virgin America First Class Shoe. The sneakers have a Wi-Fi hotspot, a built-in phone charging port, a tiny, working video display, three-hour battery life and even a seat belt buckle.
Don’t get too excited though. You can’t just run to the store and buy these shoes. There’s only one pair in existence and they are being auctioned off via eBay.
The auction will benefit Soles4Souls, a non-profit organization that works to give shoes and clothing to impoverished communities. As of 7:30 CT this morning, the bidding was at $8700 with 6 days left.
