Berrien County Cancer Service is planning a major fundraiser for this month.

Service Director Tyanna Essig tells us “Fright for the Fight Against Cancer” will be a Halloween-themed bash on October 24 at the Four Winds Casino’s Silver Creek Event Center.

We’re going to have a costume contest with the People’s Choice Award,” Essig said. “We’ll have some appetizers and there will be a cash bar. At this event, there will not be any cash that we take. Everything’s going to be Venmo.”

They’ll also have live music.

The Halloween party could be the biggest fundraising event ever for Berrien County Cancer Service as it seeks to increase the support it provides to cancer patients in the area. Essig said they’re going to be offering more support in the way of emotional wellness because that’s one of the hardest parts of a cancer fight.

Tickets for “Fright for the Fight Against Cancer” are available now. You can learn more right here.
