Poppy has announced a new album called Empty Hands.
The follow-up to 2024’s Negative Spaces is due out Jan. 23, 2026. It includes the previously released single “Unravel.” A second cut, titled “Bruised Sky,” is out now.
“‘Bruised Sky’ embraces Poppy at her heaviest sonically, with powerful and commanding vocals that effortlessly shift between melodic bridges and death growls,” a press release reads. “As Poppy’s vocals build, so does the guitar backing her, matching her ferocity decibel for decibel.”
You can watch the “Bruised Sky” video on YouTube.
In between releasing albums, Poppy linked up with Amy Lee of Evanescence and Spiritbox‘s Courtney LaPlante for the collaborative single “End of You.”
