
The Berrien County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a juvenile runaway last seen in Hagar Township.
Kaiden James Morris, 16, was last seen January 24, 2026, at approximately 11:15 p.m. in the 1200 block of Maple Lane after leaving his guardians’ residence, according to authorities.
Kaiden is described as a white male born November 19, 2009. He was last seen wearing a light-colored sweatshirt, baggy jeans, and black tennis shoes. He is a student at St. Joseph High School and is believed to be staying with friends or acquaintances in the St. Joseph–Benton Harbor metropolitan area.
Anyone with information about Kaiden’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Berrien County Sheriff’s Office at 269-983-7141. Anonymous tips may also be submitted online at bcsheriff.org.
The sheriff’s office also reminds the public that knowingly harboring or aiding a juvenile runaway is a violation of Michigan law.
Authorities say they appreciate the community’s assistance as they work to ensure Kaiden’s safe return.
