Firefighters from Bangor Community, Columbia Township, and South Haven Area Emergency Services responded to a structure fire Tuesday night in the City of Bangor.
The mutual aid alarm was dispatched at 8:05 p.m. to a home on Main Street. Crews were able to bring the fire under control quickly, although officials say they encountered heavy clothing stored in a rear room that slowed their efforts.
The house was unoccupied at the time. No injuries were reported. No word from officials on the potential cause of the fire.
