The Krasl Art Center is teaming up with Watermark Brewing Company for a new competition to help the organization prepare for the 2026 Krasl Art Fair on the Bluff.

Krasl’s Jamie Balkin tells us Watermark is launching a special cocktail just for the fair, and the art center is seeking artists to make their mark on the cans.

We’re going to offer a vodka-based cocktail called the Krasl Handcrafted, and we have a design contest underway right now to create what that label will look like,” Balkin said.

The cocktail will be sold at this year’s Krasl Art Fair on the Bluff, set for July 11 and 12. Balkin says the contest is the community’s chance to become part of the fair.

We always commission the big artwork from one of our artists that are participating in the fair. So this brings the locals as part of it.”

Artists who enter the competition will be provided with design specifications, and from there they can let their creativity flow. The deadline to submit an entry is April 6. Balkin says submitted designs must be original and human-created, no AI.
