And Steven Spielberg and Harrison Ford are on board for the flick. Disney made the announcement on Tuesday saying that the movie is shooting for a July 19, 2019 release date.

It had been rumored that Chris Pratt would take over the role but so far no other cast members have been named. Ford will be 76 when the movie hit theaters.

George Lucas, who developed the character, will reportedly not be involved. In 2012, he sold Lucasfilm, which holds the rights to Indiana Jones, to Disney.

The first Indiana Jones film, “Raiders of the Los Ark,” debuted in 1981 followed by 1984’s “Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom,” and 1989’s “Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.” The last installment of the Indiana Jones franchise was ‘The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull’ which was released in 2008. All four movies combined have brought in nearly $2 billion in box office worldwide.
