22 years after his death, new photos reveal the gun Kurt Cobain used to commit suicide.
Though the case is closed, CBS News filed a public records act to show the gun because the public has never seen it before. The pictures below show Detective Michael Ciesynski holding the gun in various positions.
Other photos from the crime scene were shown 2 years ago surrounding the 20th anniversary of Cobain’s death. His death was ruled as a ‘self-inflicted gunshot wound’ that took place after taking a massive amount of heroin.
