Another week, another Wes Scantlin story. Just last week, Scantlin’s band mates left him alone on stage in what appeared to be them quitting the band.
According to TMZ, law enforcement received a call last month regarding a car being robbed that was sitting in Scantlin’s driveway. When police showed up, Scantlin ran into his house and wouldn’t come out.
Numerous officers tried to get Scantlin out of the house but when he continued to refuse, they called in at least 30 more officers with artillery. Scantlin continued to stay inside for a few hours when the police broke down the door and brought him out.
According to TMZ, Scantlin was arrested for a previous warrant but not for the standoff. Pictures of his arrest can be seen HERE.
And the whole, “breaking into a car” thing, seems that Scantlin and friends were trying to jump start a car.
