Ever since the announcement that Stephen King’s infamous movie ‘It’ was getting remade, the question has been ‘Who will fill Tim Curry’s shoes and play Pennywise?’ Now the answer is here…

Bill Skarsgard, who is best known for his role on Hemlock Grove has been taped as the creepy clown.

We already know that Mama director Andy Mushietti will sit in the director’s chair for this movie, and, like the original, the big screen adaptation will be split into two parts.

In February, producer Roy Lee said that ‘It’ is very close to King’s novel:

It is very close to the source material in one way but very different if you look at it as a literary piece of work… We’re taking it and making the movie from the point of view of the kids, and then making another movie from the point of view of the adults, that could potentially then be cut together like the novel. But it’s gonna be a really fun way of making this movie.

Part 1 is set to hit theaters on September 8, 2017.
