Hospitals Seeing More Trampoline Park Injuries

Trampoline parks have quickly become popular attractions around the country, and that means a bounce in trampoline-related injuries. A new study finds emergency room visits due to trampoline park-related incidents have gone up from 600 per year four years ago to 7,000. Researcher Kathryn Kasmire.

“About one in 11 of these patients had to be admitted to the hospital because of these serious injuries,” Kasmire said.

The rpeort shows sprains and dislocations are the most common injuries at trampoline parks. An estimated 50 million people paid visits to trampoline parks around the United States last year.
