Apple announced yesterday that the upcoming iOS 10 update will include some new emoji characters along with a few redesigns of classics.
There will be more gender diversity in this roll out with female versions of the swimmer, runner, surfer, mountain biker, weight lifter, basketball player, construction worker and detective characters. They will also be available in different skin tons.
The update will also add new family characters including a single mother and single father emoji.
Plus there will be updates to a few classics including the gun turning into a bright green water pistol.
