Set for this upcoming weekend is the annual St. Joseph Fall Festival. St. Joe Today’s Whitney Behnke tells WSJM News the event will kick off with Friday’s Rotary and Slumberland Great Bed Race, when a bunch of people race down Lake Boulevard. Saturday will bring a variety of activities for the kids.
“We’re going to have a day on the farm with a petting farm from 11 to 3 right on the bluff, and so kids can come and pet different animals and interact with them, and we’ll have face painting, a pumpkin contest, and the Citadel is bringing their instrument petting zoo,” Behnke said.
At 4 p.m. Saturday, the St. Joseph Wine Festival and Public Art Auction starts at Whirlpool Centennial Park. Anyone who wants to buy one of the beach bug statues that were displayed all summer downtown will have a chance to do so. You can find out more at StJoeToday.com.
