It seems that the majority of Americans are unhappy with the choices for the presidential election and are looking for anyone, other than Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton to vote for in November.
A report by Newser claims Google Trends shows that online searches for “write-in” jumped by more than 2,800% over the past week which is the highest level it’s hit since 2004.
The top five states searching for alternatives are Vermont, Delaware, New Jersey, Utah, and Indiana.
In the past week, searches for “is Bernie Sanders a write in candidate” and “write in Mike Pence” both jumped more than 2,000%.
Another popular potential write-in is Mitt Romney.
