Set for Saturday is the Berrien RESA Festival of Families. RESA spokesperson Karen Heath tells WSJM News the fifth annual event will feature information on all of the services offered to kids around Berrien County. On hand will be groups like the Boys and Girls Club, the Red Cross, and the Berrien County Health department. There’s also some fun.
“We have games, carnival style games, a community art project,” Heath said. “There will be entertainers. We have performances scheduled by Zendor the Magician, a martial arts group, as well as a Zumba demonstration by the Niles YMCA. There is free face painting, and of course, tons of lunch vendors.”
The first 500 kids who show up will get free lunches. The Berrien RESA Festival of Families will be Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Berrien County Youth Fairgrounds in Berrien Springs. It’s free to get in. You can find out more about the Festival of Families right here.
