The first ever 40 Under 40 list has been released, and it includes a cross section of southwest Michigan’s best and brightest go-getters under the age of 40. Announced on Monday’s Moody in the Morning show, the 40 Under 40 represent the future of the region in a new program just started by Moody on the Market and Mid-West Family Broadcasting. The United Way’s Charlotte Becker told WSJM News the 40 Under 40 come from the world of big business, small business, non-profits, and community groups.
“We got to read all of the nominations, and now I’m excited for people to read these bios of these people that we chose because they really are remarkable,” Becker said.
Becker told us it was difficult to sift through all of the nominations that came in because there were so many. The final list features 20 men and 20 women. You can see the illustrious 40 right here. There will be a reception to salute the winners next month.
