Attorney General Bill Schuette’s campaign is getting the support of the White House. President Trump announced his endorsement of Schuette at a suburban Detroit rally Saturday night.
“Tonight we’re especially honored to be joined by a really great friend of mine and a great attorney general, the next governor of Michigan, Bill Schuette,” said Trump. The President spoke for nearly 90 minutes in Macomb County at the same time the White House Correspondents Dinner was being held in Washington, DC. Trump noted he’d much rather be in Michigan than at the dinner “with a bunch of fake news liberals who hate me.”
