Benton Township police are still looking for the suspect who shot and killed 41-year-old Demario Gunn at the Blossom Acres housing project last week. Gunn was shot in the head Tuesday night, and police say he died shortly after 6 p.m. Friday from those injuries while at Spectrum Health Lakeland in St. Joseph. He was in critical condition and had undergone surgery after the shooting. Gunn was found in a car in the 100 block of Concord, and no description of a suspect has been released. Police say several people heard the shooting.
