General Motors and the United Auto Workers union have reached tentative deal that could end month-long strike by more than 49,000 workers. The deal comes a day before local union presidents are to meet with United Auto Workers union leaders in Detroit and follows yesterday’s bargaining session that included CEO Mary Barra for a second time in a week. GM has lost over $1 billion since the strike began in mid-September.
