The July 3 fireworks show in Baroda has been canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Baroda Fire Department announced on Monday the township board opted to cancel out of concern for the health of the public and first responders. It decided social distancing could not be maintained at the event. The decision was made with the help of the Baroda Fire Department, Baroda-Lake Police Department and the Berrien County Sheriff’s Department. Fire Chief Larry Klug says he’s disappointment and he’s sure many others will feel the same way.
