One southwest Michigan organization that’s helping to raise money for hurricane relief here is the Four Winds Casino. The casino’s Torie Winchester tells WSJM News it’s set up a fund for employees to make donations. The casino will match those funds.
“At a minimum of $10,000 up to $25,000 for a match,” Winchester said.
Already, employees have chipped in.
“Right now, we’re at just a little over $7,000 from donations, and that’s purely from our employees,” Winchester told us.
All of the Four Winds casino’s locations are taking employee contributions. Conceivably, they could end up giving a total of $50,000. They’re collecting donations through the rest of the week. The money will go to the Red Cross.
